Welcome to Northview Middle School!

Hello and welcome to Northview Middle School.  My name is Jay Slight and I serve as the Principal of this amazing grade 8 & 9 building which houses over 900 students.  It is a privilege to serve as Principal in a building that is built around our districts core values of: Inspiration, Excellence, Challenge, Community and Leadership.  Northview is a community of learners focused on our collective why, which is to empower one another so that all can feel valued and capable to pursue lifelong success.  Our dedicated staff, which includes over 70 teachers, are here to help ensure that all students succeed.  Northview is a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school where we expect students to: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe.  Students at Northview will be engaged in academic excellence and have the opportunity to participate in a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
