SV/NV Virtual Book Club
How can students be involved?
Students read books they choose and meet virtually on the third Wednesday of the month at 4:45 p.m. The Zoom link can be found in the Google Classroom created for the book club the afternoon of the meeting. Students who would like to participate should sign up using this SV/NV Project LIT Virtual Book Club interest form.
Books selected to read the remainder of the year:
- MARCH: Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You: A Remix of the National Book Award-winning Stamped from the Beginning by Jason Reynolds & Ibram X. Kendi
- APRIL: War Girls by Tochi Onyebuchi
- MAY: Internment by Samir Ahmed
Project LIT Book Lists
Project LIT is a grassroots network of student-led book groups that aims to get young people excited about reading by highlighting diverse, high-interest, culturally relevant books. Members of the more than 600 Project LIT Community chapters across the country have released 26 new selections, so you’re sure to find something that will appeal to every reader.
